LBBC 63rd Anniversary (NOVEMBER 8TH)
Long Beach Buddhist Church will be celebrating the 63rd Anniversary. We will be offering a special service.
We would like to invite many of you to share this special occasion and thank the original members who built LBBC in 1951 and all the members who dedicated their time and support to the LBBC community.

DISCUSSION ON THE TRANSFORMATIVE JUSTICE
Rev. Mary and other religious leaders have been leading the interfaith community to tackle the challenges immigrant population, people of color, hospital workers and other underpaid workers, vulnerable tenants in the city have been holding a weekly discussion on Zoom. This has been a place for us to learn the significance of the presence of the clergies in the context of a social movement.

Soto Zen Buddhism North America Office (aka Association of Soto Zen Buddhists) had its annual conference except it happened online this year. The agendas included 1) The progress of Tempyozan Monastery construction, 2) Incorporation of Soto Zen North America (SZNA), 3) 100th Anniversary of Soto Zen Buddhism in North America in 2022, etc.
